Prof Samuel Adjei-Nsiah is an Associate Professor and the immediate past Head of the Forest and Horticultural Crops Research Centre, Kade of School of Agriculture, College of Basic and Applied Sciences, University of Ghana. He is a trained Agronomist with a PhD in Production Ecology and Resource Conservation, a sandwich degree from the University of Ghana and University of Wageningen, The Netherlands. Samuel has several years of experience in integrated soil fertility management in smallholder farming systems in Ghana and has worked on tropical legumes, focusing on sustainable intensification in grain legumes. His present research area includes smallholder agricultural development with focus on facilitation of multi-stakeholder collaboration for sustainable intensification in smallholder agricultural production systems for enhanced food, and nutritional security. He is currently the projector coordinator of the Sustainable Soyabean Production in Northern Ghana Project being implemented by the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and YARA Ghana.
