Ruffina joined the School of Agriculture as an Assistant Registrar/School Administrator on 1st November, 2021. Her appointment in the University began in 2010 after her National Service in the College Administration of the College of Health Sciences, KorleBu campus. In her role as Senior Administrative Assistant, she coordinated the Human Resource and Organizational Development activities in the College HR Secretariat. During this period, she managed the project activities of the UG-Brown and later UG-Florida Academic Partnership funded by USAID and the NIH-Fogarty respectively. She has extensive working experience with developing and managing donor-funded Projects.
In 2017, she joined the Office of Research, Innovation and Development (ORID) as a Research Development Officer where she was responsible for facilitating submission of grant proposals, research grants/contract management, due diligence compliance and other research support services. She holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from the Methodist University College (2014) and a BA in Sociology with Geography from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (2009).
She is excited to be part of the School of Agriculture and invites collaborative efforts from all internal and external stakeholders, Alumni, affiliates and both local and international collaborators to come on board to advance the School’s agenda to higher grounds.
