PROFILE: Dr. Charles Sagoe is the Health Information Management Lead at Vitall Intelligence Inc., Canada. He is a Certified Health Information Management Professional with over fifteen years practice across acute care, cancer registry, primary healthcare, and mental health settings. He is also a seasoned geo-environmental consultant with extensive international experience in research, training, technology development, and evaluation. He has worked with national governments and international organizations to develop cutting edge and innovative technologies. He is the CTO of Arhinsagoe & Associates. He is the former Vice President (Academic Affairs), All Nations University, Koforidua.
After graduating from Hiroshima University in 1998, he worked with Towa Kagaku Company, a Hiroshima, Japan based consulting company as Deputy Projects Manager where he effectively coordinated an OECD program that developed guidelines for chemical testing using amphibians. He managed soil and groundwater remediation projects, designed technologies for environmental research and application, and developed data management systems. He was a visiting Scientist in the Faculty of Applied Biological Sciences, Hiroshima University where he helped with the strategic planning for the reorganization of plant environment analysis research laboratory to effectively meet future challenges.
Charles is very active in the Ghanaian community in Ontario, Canada using his extensive experience to mentor youth and support community initiatives.
Dr. Sagoe He holds a Ph.D. in Biosphere Sciences and M.Ag. from Hiroshima University, Japan, B.Sc. (Agric), Soil Science major from University of Ghana, and a Diploma in Health Information Management from George Brown College, Canada. He is an old student of Breman Asikuma Secondary School and GSTS
